In-house Designing
The manufacturing process for moulded parts is complex. Before your parts are even moulded, we’re there to help you with comprehensive manufacturability feedback and consultative design services, so you can avoid muold design pitfalls before the resin hits the mould. From there, our production process is documented and optimized using scientific moulding, so you get high-quality parts consistently and reliably with every production run. Critical-to-quality (CTQ) dimensions you call out on models let us know what areas are most crucial to the success of your parts.
New Tooling Projects
A major Apex Technoplast Advantage is our in-house tool room. Changes in existing moulds can easily be achieved with our in-house tooling team. Tooling and process engineers will collaborate directly with your team to ensure a smooth development phase that hits deadlines and stays within budget.
Expert Tooling
At Apex, we can quickly develop aluminum moulds, aluminum-and-steel combinations, or hardened steel moulds ranging from Class 105 to Class 101 with our partnered mould makers. Our highly qualified designers, engineers, and tool makers can guide customers to the optimal materials based on:
Resin desired for the product
Number of anticipated shots
The expected life of the mould
Production, prototype & Bridge Moulds
Other project specifications
Existing Mould Transfers
When injection moulding businesses move, close down, downscale, or merge with other entities, rehousing and transferring existing moulds become quite a challenge. This requires searching for plastic injection moulders and going through the process of relocating the spare parts and entire manufacturing process to another factory. Apex Technoplast has rehoused hundreds of tools. We store tools and spare parts at a designated space in our facility. We carefully examine and address any faults, blemishes, or irregularities in the arriving moulds. We also assist with mould-moving logistics and tool transfers.
Our Mould Design Process
We follow a collaborative, quality-first approach to design moulds tailored to your product specifications and production volumes:
